Abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate the psychometric version of the Persian version of the questionnaire of social and anti-social behaviors in sports in athletes of team and individual disciplines in Kurdistan province (football, futsal, handball, volleyball, wrestling, taekwondo, karate and wushu). Using descriptive-correlational research, 250 athletes in football, futsal, handball, volleyball, wrestling, taekwondo, karate and wushu from Kurdistan province were selected (N = 1000). Using simple random stratified sampling method and Cochran's formula, 250 people were selected as the sample. Confirmatory factor analysis, Emos software version 24 and SPSS software version 24 were used to determine the validity and reliability of the standard 20-item questionnaire of Togarso et al. (2020). The results showed that the selected indicators for measuring the components of social and anti-social behaviors have the necessary validity and can measure social and anti-social behaviors in sports. According to these results, it can be said that the adapted scale of social and anti-social behaviors of sports can be used as a reliable and valid scale to measure the social and anti-social behaviors of athletes in Iran.
