Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the effect of self-control feedback on learning badminton short service skill in children with ADHD. Twenty children aged 11 to 14 years with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder were selected from schools in District 5 of Tehran. The counterparts were placed in one of the self-controlled and paired feedback groups and participated in 5 acquisition sessions with specific conditions of each experimental group, after the pre-test, and 48 hours after the acquisition test, retention test and pressure transfer to Action was taken. The results of combined analysis of variance showed that the self-control group had a significant advantage over the paired group during the acquisition period. This advantage was maintained in retention and pressure conditions, but there was a significant decrease in pressure conditions for both groups. Children with ADHD experience severe decline in performance due to cognitive and processing characteristics under stress.
