Relationship between Health Perception and Dimensions of Burnout of Physical Education Teachers in Covid-19

Abstract
Burnout is one of the most important variables that has a significant impact on the efficiency of teachers. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to investigate the relationship between health perception with the dimensions of burnout in male and female physical education teachers in Covid-19 conditions. The participants of the study were 114 physical education teachers of the first and second high schools of Babol city. In order to assess the rate of burnout of teachers, the burnout questionnaire was used and to assess their health perception, the general health questionnaire (GHQ-28). In order to analyze the data, independent t-test and Pearson correlation test were used at the level of p≤0.05. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between perception of health and emotional burnout and physical burnout. There is a significant relationship between the subscales of social dysfunction and all subscales of physical education teachers' burnout scales, there is a significant relationship between depression and emotional burnout. There was also a significant difference in the attitude burnout subscale between male and female physical education teachers, which was higher in men than women, but there was no difference in health perception subscales. Based on the research findings, planners and officials are recommended to control the burnout of physical education teachers by holding practical courses to get acquainted with the factors related to the perception of physical health and social dysfunction in Covid-19 conditions, factors related to Improve burnout in them so that they can perform their job duties in the best way.
