Abstract
The aim of the research was to investigate the relationship between the level of physical activity and psychological flexibility, psychological well-being and happiness with the mediating role of self-efficacy. The descriptive research method was correlational and survey type. The research population was physically active people who had a history of physical activity at least in the last year and were in the age range of 20 to 60 years. The measurement tools included Riff psychological well-being questionnaire, Bund et al. psychological flexibility questionnaire, Oxford happiness questionnaire (OHI), GSE-17 self-efficacy questionnaire and IPAQ physical activity level questionnaire. Data analysis was done by structural equation method. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between physical activity level and psychological flexibility, happiness and self-efficacy (p<0.05). Also, the results showed that self-efficacy played a mediating role between the relationship between physical activity level and psychological flexibility, psychological well-being and happiness (p<0.05). Studies have shown that physical activity can affect various psychological aspects and mental health.
