Abstract
Abstract
The aim of this study was to comparison of emotional intelligence and psychological profile of different volleyball positions in Iranian Women's Super League players. The statistical population of this study included all volleyball players of the Iranian Women's Super League. The tools used included the Schering Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire and the omsat-3 Mental Skills Assessment Questionnaire. The ANOVA test was used to analyze the data. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the players of different volleyball positions in the emotional intelligence variable and its subscales other than the self-control variable. It was also found that there is a significant difference between the players of different volleyball positions in the variable profile of psychological skills and its subscales. In general, it can be said that among different volleyball positions, passers-by and liberos have a higher profile of mental skills and emotional intelligence than other positions.
